The New Sharpie Pen
Well I must say, this pen is a thing of beauty. Picked up a couple this morning and have put them through the ringer all day. This is now my new official workhorse pen.
The Lucas Turnbloom Interview
Recently I had the chance to ask one of my favorite comic creators some questions. I stumbled on to Lucas' strip, "Imagine This" right when it launched. Shortly after I got the second thrill of knowing he would be part of TTF.
So head on over to TTF and learn some more about this super talent:
Coraline Clip
Neil Gaiman just posted a link to a little behind the scenes snippet from "Coraline". Of course I have to share this:

What could get me to go to Vegas?
I don't gamble but I love casinos. Figure that one out. Not enough to go to visit. I love magic. In fact I've been practicing and performing magic since second grade. Vegas has lots of great magicians. Still not enough to make me go.
Combine Criss Angel and Cirque du Soleil? Ah, that might just push me to the ticket counter.
Either way, you need to check out the website. Just went live:
Criss Angel's Cirque Du Soleil
As a life long magician and a fan of Cirque, just had to share these first look pictures of Criss Angels' Cirque show "Believe".
This will get me to go to Vegas:

Great Writer
I love thrillers but it's hard to find a good one, never mind a series. Yet I have, thanks to my parents. They brought two Brad Thor books this last visit and I'm completely hooked.

Pinkerton Park for Sale
Not the actual Park, but the first collection of strips. Man, I am so excited to get this book. I've been reading from the beginning and there's just something so cool about having your favorite strip in print.
I can't recommend this one enough, and at $3.99, it's a steal!

Berke Breathed Interview
The Berke Breathed interview is now up at TTF! Still in that thick dream haze of "did we actually get to interview Berke Breathed?". Well it's real, true, and now live.
And also, you must check out the illustration by Lucas Turnbloom of "Imagine This". Just plain wow!
Special Guest Coming to TTF!
Are you a notebook junkie?
I'm am very guilty of that moniker. Try to hide it, but just found another site to feed my addiction. Via notebookism.com, discovered a great blog that deals strictly with alternatives to Moleskines. Moleskines happen to be my drug of choice, but I'm always on the lookout for other brands that also meet my requirements.
And as a topper, they're having a little contest too:
Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book
Have I mentioned I'm excited about this book? The UK site just went live. Great illustration galleries. I've pre-ordered my copy but now I really want the version with Chris Riddell's art too:

Genius Illustrator of Spiderwick Chronicles
Thought I'd mention one of my inspirations in the realm of children's books. I'm currently working on my new book, so I tend to browse around sites that give me a few amps to work harder.
Tony Diterlizzi's site is on the top of the list. You'll recognize his masterful work on "The Spiderwick Chronicles" but don't miss his other artworks:
