Had a wonderful holiday. Bright some of the visiting family downtown for the one two combo of @baesburgers and @fredandjunes . The only crowded place I like is a bookstore. And ours was slammed. Outside three little kids pointed and looked up at their grandmother. They asked if they could go look at books. Now if that doesn't warm your heart, not much will. Also, did I mention we have the best bookstore and burger joint in the country? Back home I made some smoked carnitas for our post T-Day meal. And you can see that the fur babies were out of gas by Saturday. #ShopLocal #indiebookstore

Happy Halloween! Thought I'd reformat Sunday's comic to make it easier to read. I think you can tell I based the art on my favorite movie of all time, "Pan's Labyrinth". Well, it's tied with "The Nightmare before Christmas" but obviously it's impossible to compare the two.

Also, thought I'd share a link to a lovely bit of Halloween history, courtesy of History.com. The Irish roots of the holiday are almost as fun as free candy. Part of me wishes we kept some of those old traditions:
