Pulling can be a frustrating behavior to work on when training dogs. It’s super important to get under control, especially around other dogs. One of the few prodcuts I ever reccomend is the Gentle Leader harness. Great training aid. Make sure you get the harness and not the one that goes over their snout.

Not sure if my intended meaning came across in this comic. It was sinply about Sophie and Doug comforting a lonely tree in the fall winds. I think maybe adding a little heart thought bubble coming from the tree in the last panel might have clarified the meaning.

I’m sure even some human readers can relate to this one. And here’s my recommendation for dog beds. Get the waterproof toddler mattresses and cover those with a fitted sheet and some blankets. They’re a lot cheaper than most fancy dog beds and they last forever. Also makes cleanup a breeze.

I love drawing the strips where Sophie images herself as a wolf. Both because I love drawing wolves but it’s funny when Sophie’s dreams don’t match up with reality.
